SOLD

I think everyone knows by now but I want to officially announce that we have sold our house. Here's the story. We got a phone call from an area code 0f 8o1 (Utah) and they wanted to come and see the house Sunday morning. Their was a good chance of them being LDS since they were coming from Utah. As soon as they pulled up the driveway we knew we were right. No one else wears suits to church. Well it wasn't hard for them to tell that we were also LDS. The Living Christ and Proclamation to the Family and wedding pictures on the wall were a dead give away. After we got talking we find out that the young couple is coming to Iowa to atend Law school! How funny it that. We had a wonderful chat while showing them the house and discover the Lord does everything in his own time and really knows what is best for his children. The couple had come to Iowa met with a realtor and looked at many homes over the weekend. They picked the house they liked the best and went back to make an offer only to find that someone else just before them had made an offer and the sellers had accepted. Leaving the next day and not knowing what to do they got back in the car and were heading to their motel. This is when they saw our for sale sign and decided to take a look. They liked what they saw and the rest you already know. We have felt so blessed to have sold our home to a wonderful couple, and know that the Lord was watching over us.

Laundry Basket

When you have children anything and everything becomes a toy. Ordinary household items seem to be much more interesting then colorful expensive toys. Today the item of interest was the laundry basket. Both Isaac and Isabella had lots of fun playing in the basket and being pushed around the kitchen like they were driving a race car. Isabella even enjoyed just siting in the basket and playing with her ball.

Uh oh I dropped my ball

You can see her little fingers peeking out of the basket as she tries to reach the ball
