Christmas Decor

We had tons of fun decorating our tree and house for Christmas this year. Our real tree smells wonderful and I added some more fresh cut bowes to our windows for a little extra festive smell.

Oh Christmas Tree

This year we decided to get a real Christmas Tree! Not from a store but from a tree farm. Where you get to pick out the perfect tree and cut it down all by yourself. It was a great experience and the kids loved it! The place we went to (Coats Christmas Trees) has all these fun electric cars for the kids to drive around in. They had Santa giving out candy canes, hot chocolate and warm apple cider, and hundreds of beautiful Christmas trees.

Black Eye

Isaac received his first black eye thanks to our island counter top in the kitchen. He was running around the island when he clipped the corner with his face. He immediately had a huge lump and some swelling.

Day 1~ a little swelling and some purple

Day 2~ a little more purple and still swollen

Day 4~ no more swelling, lots of yellow and a bit of black
