Happy Birthday to ME

I just wanted to share what a wonderful birthday I had. Saturday was spent shopping, lots of fun! Even though I didn't get anything for myself its still fun to shop. Reuben and Isaac needed new shoes, and I found the cutest dress for Isabella. Reuben kept telling me that she doesn't need anymore cloths but I hadn't bought a single thing for her yet and couldn't resist the dress. Sunday was officially my Birthday and Reuben surprised me with tickets to the Pacific Northwest Ballet, I am soooo excited. He also surprised me with a beautiful bracelet that I have had my eye on for months. My mother-in-law also gave me a gift card to Banes and Noble and a beautiful red flower vase. Since Monday was Memorial Day Reuben didn't have to go to work and we spent the day at Pikes Place Market looking at all the produce, watching people throw fish, buying fresh flowers, and checking out what everyone was selling. Then to finish off the holiday and my birthday we went to a wonderful BBQ, had lots of good food and ice cream, and are meeting tons of wonderful people. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and thanks for all the happy birthday's that my family and friends sent me!

Childrens Museum

Friday Isaac and I went to the Seattle's Children's Museum with a few new friends. I think Isaac had been couped up in the house to long because my normal mellow child ran around like a wild animal that hadn't been let out of its cage for days. He was so busy running around that I hardly had any time to take pictures We had lots of fun and Isaac really wore him self out. He was asleep in his car seat before I figured out how to get out of the parking garage.

Milk or Water?

At lunch Isaac couldn't decide if he wanted milk or water so instead of limiting his choices he decided both would be the best decision.

Sick Boy

Today I woke up to a very sick boy. Before I even got out of my bedroom Isaac threw up, and started shaking uncontrollably while I was changing him out of his messy pj's. Then he got a fever and just wanted to snuggle on the couch all morning. He seemed to be feeling a bit better about an hour later so I tried to give him some breakfast but before I could even get a spoon he threw up all over again. So with a few spoonfuls of applesauce we headed back to the couch. Isaac slept the rest of the morning on the couch until about noon. He seems to be feeling a bit better after some lunch and jello. Hopefully this is only the 24 hour flu and nobody else gets sick.

Workin Man

I couldn't resist taking a picture of Reuben on his first day of work! Now that he looks the part, its time to bring home the bacon.

Happy Mothers Day

I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day!! My Mother's Day started a bit early. When I arrived to Seattle on Friday night Reuben already had my Mother's day gift out on the table ready for me but I was so tired from the flight and it being 11pm Seattle time and 1am Iowa time I didn't even notice the beautiful flowers and earrings. So Saturday morning Reuben asked if I had seen my mothers day gift and I was shocked that I hadn't noticed the beautiful flowers and earrings. At church today all the mothers were given chocolates and in nursery Isaac made the cutest hand print for me! So far this has been the best Mother's Day. Happy Mother's day to everyone!

We Made It!

We are officially in Seattle! Reuben had a long three days of driving and Isaac and I had a horrible 7 hour flight but we all made it safe and sound. We are now trying to adjust to the 2 hour time change, our new place, and Seattle! Our new place is wonderful. Lots of room for anyone wanting to come and visit us. Its been beautiful so far and no rain. We have become attached to the GPS, navigating downtown would be a nightmare without it!! So far all is well, but tomorrow is Reuben's first day at work and I have to drive downtown to my doctors appointment all by myself. So all might not be well after tomorrow! We miss everyone and hope to have some visitors this summer.
