Best Christmas Present

Reuben's brother, uncle Armondo, sent the kids an easel or Christmas. They love it! Isaac and Bella are constantly drawing chalk pictures and scribbles on the white board. It has really kept them entertained and is one of the few toys from Christmas that they still play with. Thanks Armondo!

Rainy Days in Seattle

Surprisingly we have adjusted to the rainy weather of Washington better then expected. Rain or shine we still have to get out of the house for food, preschool, workout class, and many other things. Bella dosent seem to mind the rain at all. She is completely content to play outside in the rain or sun. Isaac on the other hand takes a bit more coaxing to go out in the rain. And defiantly notices our lack of sun. On our way to preschool Isaac started shouting the sun the sun I finally see the sun! Good thing summer is coming, but only after more spring rain.

May 09 ~ Reuben GRADUATED

June 09~ Moved from Iowa to Seattle

July 09 ~ Bella turned 1 one the 12th and Isaac turned 3 on the 20th

September 09~ Reuben started his new job as an attorney for Lane Powell LLP and we bought a house

October 09~ Halloween, our first holiday in our new home

November 09~ Family came to visit for Thanksgiving

December 09~ Our first Christmas by ourselves without family and no traveling.

A wonderful year full of new adventures.

Happy New Years

We had a wonderful New Years Celebration with the wonderful Hansen family. Yummy dinner, fun games, and the kids played great! Even though I was running on very little sleep from a YM's sleep over at my house the night before New years was lots of fun. Thanks Brian and Britni for parting with us all night. Isaac is still asking about Dalia and on Sunday I reminded him that he would be able to see his friend Bethany and he said "No mom I love Dalia". So cute!
