Ward Halloween Party

We had our annual ward Halloween party this weekend. We invited our neighbor Kary and her son Joseph to come and join us. Isaac was a elephant and Joseph was a chef. We had tons of fun seeing all the kids in their costumes and all the creative adult costumes.

We Got a Job

After almost 3 months of Reuben's hard work interviewing and over 30 denials later we are excited to announce that Reuben has officially accepted a summer associate position and the George V. Powell scholarship at the law firm of Lane Powell in Seattle, Washington.

We are excited and relieved to have a job and to be spending the summer closer to home and family.

Being Bored

The last couple of days have been cold and rainy so we haven't had much outside play time, and its been hard finding fun and exciting this that will keep a 15 month old busy. Luckily Isaac has a big imagination and will play with almost anything around the house. Right now the baby gate is one of his new favorite toys.

Pumpkin Carving

For FHE Morgan and Melissa came over and we carved our pumpkins. Morgan carved a family picture and put horns and a tail on Eli. It turned out great and is really funny. Reuben and I carved the word BOO in our pumpkins. While we were carving our pumpkins Melissa gave us our lesson from the Ensign. We ended our fun night with orange Julius's and a episode of Heroes at the Lasley's home.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Colony Pumpkin Patch and picked out a few pumpkins to carve and decorate our front porch. They had lots to choose from, little ones big ones and a new hybrid squash pumpkin. We got a few of each, even a squash pumpkin. On Monday for FHE we will be carving them and will show you our pumpkins then.

What's for Lunch

Today for lunch Isaac and I had fideo. Isaac wasn't enjoying eating from the spoon so I let him feed himself. This is what happened. He ate great but also made a huge mess of himself.

Little Red Wagon

I bought Isaac a little wagon at a children's discount store and it has been the best 2 dollars I ever spent!! Isaac will play with it for hours, he pushes it around the yard filling it with leaves sticks and rocks. When hes bored with that he will climb in and out clapping each time he get in the wagon. Today it was 88 degrees outside so I filled his wagon up with water and he loved his wagon even more. He would climb in and sit in the water and splash. Then he decided to wash some rocks. We had to end our water fun when he wanted to drink the water.
