The kids have been in swimming lesson for the month of August and they have turned into little Ortega Fishies. Isaac and Bella LOVE the water. They are both enjoying dunking they faces, holding their breath under water (which they do longer then I feel comfortable with), and jumping into the pool. Isaac has improved so much since we started. He can float on his back and on his stomach. He can dive underwater and pick up toys from the bottom of the pool and he can swim to his teacher and back to the wall all by himself. On the first day of swim lessons Bella started out by saying, "No I cant" to everything the teacher asked. Now she can swim almost as good as Isaac. She was even moved up into his class. She would be even better if she would pay attention more and listed to her teacher! She is just so independent! Swimming lessons are almost over so as a reward and some much needed family time Reuben is taking the day off tomorrow and we are taking the kids to a water park close by.

Our Garden
I have been so proud of our tiny garden this year. This is our first real garden and we decided to do some small raised beds along our West fence. So far everything has done great. My cucumbers are producing like crazy and so our are beans. Bella loves to go out and pick beans to eat! We have four bell peppers growing and lots of zucchini We didnt want them to take up too much room so they are very small but we have loved it so far. Next year I am going to add one more bed so we can plant a few more things.
Bell Peppers
We also have carrots but I forgot to take a picture of them.

Prego Pics.
I am finally posting pregnancy pictures! Pregnant or not I don't like taking pictures of myself but stuff like this needs to be documented. So here I am at 33 weeks pregnant, with only 48 more days to go! Number 3 has been very different then the other two. I have not enjoyed being pregnant as much as I remember with Isaac and Bella. I must be getting old too because I have had much more acks and pains and leg cramps. On a more positive note the last 7 months have flown by and I cant wait to meet our baby girl!

Summer Fun
Our summer is almost over but it feels like our warm summer weather just got hear! Before school starts and life becomes crazy I wanted to document a few fun things we did this summer. Fist off Auburn Splash Park. Great place for the kids to get wet and play in the water. Isaac had a blast and loved spraying the frog hose. Bella is more of a pool girl and stayed on the side with me for most of the time. She did splash in the water a little bit. Next to the splash park is the neatest play area that the kids loved! It was very creative and had lots for the kids to explore. Bella love the sand box, which was huge. Isaac loved the giant slides and climbing walls. Before we left Bella amazed us all and went down the giant slides. She doesn't like heights or slides so this was big for her.
Next up was Lake Meridian. I took the kids with our neighbor to enjoy the sun, sand and water. Isaac and Bella loved the water, it was a bit cold but that didn't seem to faze them. They jumped right in and swam for over an hour, getting out once in awhile to play in the sand and make sand castles.
Our latest Summer fun was Camping in our back yard. The kids have been waiting to do this with Dad all summer and it finally happened. We had fun setting up the tent and getting it stocked with all the sleeping bags and pillows. The kids were super excited. I didn't think they would fall asleep. They must have been tired because they crashed after only a half and hour. They even slept all night long. It was a great memory with just them and their Dad. I used the pregnancy card and slept in my nice comfy bed.
