Valentines Day

We had a wonderful Valentines Day this year. We started off with sugar cookies on Friday and delivered some of them to our neighbors. The kids had a blast helping with the cookies. Isaac is wonderful at rolling out the dough. Bella was only interested in playing in the flour and eating the frosting. On Saturday we were spoiled and Reuben and I spent most of the day without the kids! Thanks Cindy. Reuben had planned a fun day for me which stared off at one of my favorite stores called Bella's. Which is a mix between a floral shop and antique home decor store. Next it was speed track racing wich was a blast. Even though Reuben beat me every time. After that it was time for lunch at Chipotle and then the Valentine movie. On Sunday the kids opened their Valentine gifts from us and grandma. Which were huge bouncy balls, matching teddy bears, coloring books and a little toy truck for Isaac. It was the best weekend we have had in a long time. Thanks hon for the great day!

Little Man

Isaac is growing up soooo fast and I dont like it one bit! Some days it feels like he hardly needs me at all. What will I do with out my chubby little boy?

This is a little late but I have to document that Grandpa and Grandma Ortega came to visit in January for a whole week! It was wonderful, the kids loved playing with grandma and grandpa and Missy their dog. I am so lucky to have such wonderful in-laws, they cooked and cleaned, watched the kids so Reuben and I could go to see Avatar, and while I went and worked out in the mornings. Reuben's dad even built him a work bench in the garage. It was a wonderful week and I am so glad they were able to come.
