Trip to the State Fair

This week we went to the Iowa State Fair with our new friends Jason and Kim Stoddard. It was a overcast day so we thought it would be a bit cooler but wow were we wrong! Between the heat and humidity we were all thoroughly drenched with sweat the entire day, but we had tons of fun seeing the cool sites of the fair.

Isaac was such a trooper, he couldn't have been a better boy!

This is Kim petting the second largest Boar in the World, his name was Corn Dog.

hey there loyal iowans! we are glad that someone seriously attended a fair of some kind...we ate dinner, and that's it, one night at the rupert fair and quickly surfed the commercial bldg and ate dinner at the burley fair. we are pleased to meet your new friends...if only in picture! isaac is a good sport about everything! still my "little burrito" as always. note from dad: new batch of z-bread going in the oven...YUM YUM YUM!!!

How fun! I wish we would have made it to the fair this year, unfortunately it started after we moved back from DM and I couldn't bring myself to go back there again so soon after moving home:) Glad you guys had a good time
