Happy Birthday Reuben

Yesterday March 19 was Reuben's 26Th Birthday and we had a wonderful day. First of all Reuben's high school friend Eli Watkins and his wonderful wife Steph and their beautiful daughter Ellis came up from Illinois and we were able to spend Tuesday with them in Nauvoo and see the Temple, get a Nauvoo brick and a prairie diamond. We then headed home put the babies to bed and had a wonderful catch up chat with good friends long into the night. The next morning the B-day boy got up before everyone and made waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage for breakfast. The boys then headed out to play 18 holes of disc golf. When they got home Reuben and Eli played the XBOX while Steph and I made Reuben's cake. After XBOX was over we all grabbed a quick lunch and then the boys went over to our local Rec Center and played pool until dinner time. For his dinner B-day I made Reuben his favorite, chicken enchiladas and a Jello cake for dessert. After dinner and birthday cake we said good bye to the Watkins family as they headed back to Illinois. To end Reuben's birthday we popped in a good movie August Rush after we put Isaac to bed and relaxed on the couch until bedtime.
