This is Isaac at one day old in the North Carolina, Wakemed Hospital. Looking at this picture I am so amazed that this tiny baby is my busy boy! So much was going in in our lives at this moment. We were living in North Carolina, trying to buy a house in Iowa, moving all our possessions from Idaho to Iowa. Reuben was starting his first year of Law School in less then a month and we had just had a baby! You would think we would be going crazy but when I look at this picture all I remember is an overwhelming sense of peace. Looking at my precious new baby sound asleep nothing else seemed to matter. We still have a ton going on in our lives, trying to sell our house in Iowa so we can move to Seattle and buy another house. Reuben finishing his last year of Law School and we just had another baby! But when I look at my precious children I still feel so much peace and for a moment none of that crazy stuff matters!

So glad you did this! I totally remember when NC and thinking your life was going to be super busy with moving and trying to buy a house and having a baby! At least we had SYTYCD to watch!
What a fun idea! Funny how your life seems to be repeating itself, but progressing at the same time.
